The Sports History Studies (STAD) was founded in 2024 by academics devoted to sports history. STAD is an open-access, national, peer-reviewed scholarly journal. STAD includes not only studies from the discipline of history but also studies on sports history from the fields of sociology, political science, international relations, economy, health, public administration, and sports management.
The opinions in the articles published in STAD, which will be published twice a year in June and December, are the personal views of the authors and do not reflect the institutional view of STAD. The languages of the journal are Turkish and English.
